Pictured above, actress Michelle Rodriguez poses with a M349 SAW belt-fed machine gun in the Nevada desert with David Perriset and Genghis Cohen with Machine Gun Helicopters. Rodriguez is currently working on a movie with director Steve McQueen in Chicago and said reported that she needed a break from filming, so came to Vegas to hang out with her longtime friends, Cohen, owner of Machine Gun Helicopters, and Perriset, owner of Exotics Racing, both high-end adventure attractions in Las Vegas. Rodriguez had a blast (quite literally) and experienced what it was like to be a military door gunner.
Machine Gun Helicopters is the culmination of years of planning and research combined with a depth of knowledge in helicopter operations, military operations and tourist machine gun experiences – resulting in the most exciting gun experience in the world. Guests undergo a comprehensive briefing and rehearsal of the shoot prior to getting in the helicopter in MGH simulator. Then, send it down range. You will be engaging various static targets on the mountainside while looking down an EO Tech scope with a holographic reticle, which repositions itself based on the viewpoint of the shooter’s eye.
